I've never watched you before Ben. The most endearing bit was when your guide was talking about Sri Lanka being part of the British Colony and you said "yeah, sorry about that". I smiled. Thank you Ben, for acknowledging how problematic that time was with a simple and yet much needed apology. I was here hoping to find a great detox place, but I'm not convinced by this one. Reminded me of one I stayed in India which seemed similar. Think I'll find a UK one. I can live without the snakes, spiders and mosquitos!

Just to give a different view, we came here recently but not as a drinking holiday, we took our 4 children and we honestly had the most amazing time and they still ask every few months if we can go back. We stayed at the magic natura Hotel which is situated just outside of benidorm itself. Bendiorm is a well known drinking destination but i think it depends on what you do, we visited some beautiful waterfalls, we spent days out at sea using the sea equipment we had nice meals and the one thing I noticed was how friendly and lovely the locals were. We didn't experience the other side of benidorm due to having our children with us ,but we had the best time and I'm sure it's memories they won't forget 😊

I went to Ibiza and Magaluf in my younger years, fun at the time but would never go back to these kind of locations, would much rather a child holiday with the misus exploring the culture, architecture and history of a city. Each to their own I guess

There aren’t mixed opinions hahaha I’m from Alicante and lots of people just depend on tourism to make a living. They put up with Brit behaviour but it’s really not nice to walk out in the morning to take the dog out and find your city trashed because Liverpool lost a football match or something

I hope you don't mind if I sidetrack away from the context of the video and ask you a question. ...I don't mean to be too forward or personal, but are you, uhmmm.... well, what is your preference in dating? I only ask cause of the 1 earing that you usually wear in your right ear. Depending on your answer, I guess it would just be a breath of fresh air knowing there are people of a certain demographic that are like you and have personality like you. Don't usually see that all too often. I guess either way whatever your answer is, you seem like a cool dude.

There are countries all over the World, including China, that are using these building projects to increase Labor, it's very simply a method at producing Jobs in periods when Labor demand is Low, avoiding recession. It also allows for the transfer of Public Capital to Private entities without Suspicion of Corruption; Government officials get a Cut, private entities are chosen for that purpose. I'll say one thing; at least the City is being well maintained, and can be used.
